Tips for selecting suitable glues for eyelash extensions

Welcome all lash artists, VKA Lashes Factory would like to give you some advice that can help you find the most suitable glue for eyelash extensions. Today, there are a variety of adhesives in the market which might have the same appearance, same guidance, and same features. This absolutely makes you confused when shopping for the most suitable glues that can meet all your requirements such as drying time and humidity of each glue.
A great glue needs to meet these requirements: strong, long retention, long-lasting, harmless to use around customers' eyes. 
I. Understanding the glue ingredients
A glue that meets the required standard will be made up of 80-95% cyanoacrylate and 5%-20% of other compounds. Glues for eyelash extensions are designed specially for its unique purpose of bonding natural lashes with individual extensions or clusters.

* Note: The increasing amount of chemical substances added in an adhesive will lead to higher risk of getting allergic reactions. Lash artists must choose the best hypoallergenic lash extension glue for clients with sensitive eyes (formaldehyde and latex-free).

Eyelash extension adhesive has 2 colours: black and clear
Black adhesive will give your customers a slight eyeliner effect which is more appreciated by lash artists. However, for sensitive clients, clear adhesive would be more suitable to avoid allergy. 

II. Lash glue types 
In the market, we can easily divide glues into 2 types: fast-drying and slow-drying. Hence; before choosing your suitable glue, you should estimate your current time to complete a full lash set. Your completion time will decide which glue is suitable for you.

- If it takes you only 1s to complete a false lash, then you should use glue that has drying time within 1-2s.

- If it takes you only 2s to complete a false lash, then you should use glue that has a drying time within 1-3s.

-It it takes you more than 2s, then you should use glue with drying time within 2-4s.

If you don’t buy the right glue that is suitable for your extension speed, your lash extensions cannot remain well for a long time. So, to ensure the retention of your customers’ lash extensions, you must know your speed. This is the key to an excellent retention of eyelash extensions.
* Note: A shorter bonding time can accelerate the application time, but a long bonding time can make the application in a stronger hold.
